a young rosebud was I then.
Our love was young our emotions fragile,
though we cared so much for the time.
Remember when our puppy love grew,
a beautiful flower bloomed so soon.
They told us that we were to young,
but we knew we'd prove them wrong.
It first lasted weeks then months,
slowly grown to years of love.
Watered gently every day,
never forgotten until that day.
That dreadful day that insect landed,
on the beautiful petals of our romance.
Eating away at the flowers life,
Leaving uncertain feelings in its place.
For some unknown reason,
to you that insect appeared.
Not as a parasite,
Why Drive bye shootings, and stabbings every night,Why by ~cableman1993
sex and booze gain priority... over life.
Five year old girls cover their ears and cry,
while they watch their drunk daddies take their mama's life.
Drugs and knives over family and love,
who can save us from this circle of?
Fear and corruption, hatred and wrath,
unborn babies thrown out like trash.
Kill or be killed, hurt or be hurt,
the ones who care can never be heard.
What can fill the void, who can heal the pain,
when innocent blood pours down like rain?
Dont keep your friends close, theres no one you can trust,
peoples hearts are made of iron and there starting to rust.
